Heinie Meine → Heine Meine – Relisted for further input. Jafeluv (talk) 10:33, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
His name is misspelled (it was often misspelled "Heinie," but Heine himself did not spell it with the "ie" at the end, he spelled it to match his last name: Meine. For proof, go to www.heinemeine.com, which is a site named for him and his baseball field in St. Louis. kopper (talk) 14:49, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
- I'm inclined to say that you are correct. Despite the high level of sources that say "Heinie", there appears to be a few that support "Heine". Enough sources, in my opinion, to at least take a longer look at this. If there was at least a source that actually says that his name is usually misspelled "Heinie", then that would be a clincher.--JOJ Hutton 21:24, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
