Heidi was a prominent bodybuilder in the 80s. She had great symmetry, well, in my opinion.

I know she competed and won a lot of contests on the west coast, but she may have competed in the east too.

As it stands right now, this article could be challenged on notability. If you know more about her, expansion would be a good idea. The only Heidi Miller I found in my contest archives finished 17th in the lightweight class at the 1984 NPC USA Championship. Any idea if this is the same person?

Thanks for the stub

[edit]

I don't know if it is the same Heidi Miller. It could be because I think she became more focused on business pursuits instead of bodybuilding from what I read online. She used to own a frozen yogurt franchise on the west coast.

Heidi might have been one of the early competitors who came out at the same time as Lisa Lyon. I'm still working on it, but hopefully somebody else still remembers her.

I don't know if she competed as an amateur or professional. Some people back then wanted to stay amateur because they were hoping that female bodybuilding would become an Olympic sport. Some got out because they didn't want to take drugs for size. I know Heidi supported "natural" bodybuilding. From what I remember the sanctioning was different back then too and there was a lot of politics about it.

But I agree with you, it won't be notable as it stands now. KarateLadyKarateLady 04:09, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

Should the tag to the Virginia Tech survivors be there? I looked at that page, and there's no one named "Heidi Miller" listed. - Cubs Fan (talk) 17:52, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
