I just added a source that states what you contest, explaining why he is especially notable, so what's the problem? ~ cygnis insignis 09:32, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If we state in the lede that a subject is "recognised for", "famed for", "noted for", we are stating the whole underlying purpose of WP and the fundamental reason why the article exists at all. It's stating what is already obvious. My objection is that, if this subject is recognised for something, then so is every other human subject in the encyclopaedia, so should we start adding this form of expression to all their ledes? Best we don't. In my edit, I added the technical objection (now apparently resolved by your added source), that the lede must summarise the body and if the body did not say he was "recognised" for those achievements/activities, the lede could not say so. sirlanz 09:38, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The source was already there, and the supporting text, I see know reason to indulge you further. ~ cygnis insignis 10:16, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
