Tip
[edit]please place the family name pronunciation in IPA symbols, because it doesn't follow the english rules (it is pronounced like as "Nowert" similar to "Power") Tabascofernandez (talk) 09:35, 1 January 2018 (UTC)

D-Day
[edit]This is the original transcript of what Nauert said. She mentioned the Marshall Plan and D-Day in passing:
"When you talk about Germany, we have a very strong relationship with the Government of Germany. Looking back in the history books, today is the 71st anniversary of the speech that announced the Marshall Plan. Tomorrow is the anniversary of the D-Day invasion. We obviously have a very long history with the Government of Germany, and we have a strong relationship with the government, and so we want to reaffirm the strength of our relationship with Germany."
There are probabaly more objective takes on what she said, than the article mocking her used as a reference here.Jimhoward72 (talk) 18:10, 7 December 2018 (UTC) P.S. today is Pearl Harbor day - we obviously have a very long history with the Government of Japan.
remove photo
[edit]i have removed this photo (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Secretary_Pompeo_Participates_in_a_Bilateral_Meeting_With_Foreign_Minister_Wang_Yi_(28921695728).jpg) of nauert. it does not seem appropriate given that there is a whole sentence where she is very critical of the policies that country. I have replaced it with a photo of her speaking with pompeo as the article. says she had a good relationship with him. i have also included that photo because of the importance of that event.
