Quite a short article here, will get started shortly. --Kyle Peake (talk) 05:26, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox and lead

[edit]
  • CD should be targeted to Compact disc
  • Why is the length here different to under Track listing? One of them must be incorrect...
  • Are you sure there can't be a singles chronology added to the infobox?
  • "is a song performed by Albanian" → "is a song by Albanian"
  • "was released as a CD single on" → "was released on CD as a single on"
  • Add a sentence about the meaning of the song after the one discussing its comp
  • Mention of the music video after this in the lead?
  • "It represented Albania in" → "The song represented Albania for"
  • "competition Festivali i Këngës with" → "competition, Festivali i Këngës, with"
  • "seventeenth place marking the country's" → "17th place, marking its" per MOS:NUMBERS
  • "his dark-themed show" → "his dark-themed performance of the song" since you haven't mentioned this is about the song for a while
  • "accompanied by a instrumentalist" → "accompanied by an instrumentalist" with the target removed like I did
  • You should add a mention of the 2018 release
  • After the edits requested above, I may want this lead to be split into two paragraphs; only do so if I tell you to, though.

 Done

Background and composition

[edit]
  • Remove wikilink on Frederik Ndoci and only mention his surname here, since he is the lead/only artist of the song who was mentioned in the lead itself
  • Before the first sentence of this section, give mention of who "Hear My Plea" was composed and written by
  • Target 45th edition to Festivali i Këngës 45
  • "a competition to determine" → "a competition for determining"
  • "As part from the competition's rules" → "For following the competition's rules"
  • "The singer took part" → "Ndoci took part"
  • "song "Balada e Gurit" composed by Adrian Hila and written by Pandi Laço" → "song "Balada e Gurit", composed by Hila and written by Laço"
  • "Musically, it is an" → "Musically, the latter is an" to avoid confusion

 Done

Music video

[edit]
  • The info in Release history should also be written out in the body, so re-title this section to Release and promotion, since the music video is promotion obviously. Start the sentence by mentioning the two releases of the song, including what label(s) they were on, then write about the video.
  • Sure you couldn't include more info about the music video than is currently here? Doesn't seem broad enough right now at all.
  • "premiered onto the official" → "premiered on the official"

 Done

At Eurovision

[edit]

Festivali i Këngës

[edit]
  • Remove wikilink on Festivali i Këngës in the text as that's already been done in the body of this article
  • Ditto for Eurovision Song Contest 2007
  • "21 and 22 December, and the grand final on 23 December 2006" → "21 and 22 December 2006, and the grand final on 23 December of that year"
  • "in which, Frederik Ndoci was chosen" → "which included Ndoci being chosen"

 Done

Helsinki

[edit]
  • Remove wikilinks on 52nd edition and Helsinki here
  • "10 May, and the grand final on 12 May 2007" → "10 May 2007, followed by the grand final on 12 May of that year"
  • "to the then-Eurovision rules" → "to the Eurovision rules at the time"
  • "except the host country" → "with the exceptions of the host country"
  • "final, although, the top ten" → "final. However, the top ten" and move any refs if needed; the sentence is currently too long
  • "performed eleventh in the semi-final" → "came 11th in the semi-final"
  • "and failed to qualify for the grand final in seventeenth place" → "and failed to qualify for the grand final in 17th place"
  • "During his dark blue-themed show" → "During his dark blue-themed performance of "Hear My Plea"
  • "and four backing vocalists including" → "and four backing vocalists, including"

 Done

Track listing

[edit]
  • Retitle to Track listings

 Done

Release history

[edit]
  • The columns should not be sortable
  • Nothing should be centred besides the refs

 Done

References

[edit]
  • These all need to be archived
  • Copyvio score looks great
  • Should be ESCKaz not ESCKAZ on ref 9 and are you
  • Ref 10 is missing the necessary publisher
  • Delete the "on Amazon" (followed by country) text from refs to that company and instead change the publishers appropriately, e.g Amazon.de for Germany
  • Add in the languages of the three Amazon refs

Final comments and verdict

[edit]
@Kyle Peake: All issues were fixed now--Lorik17 (talk) 13:22, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Iaof2017: Appears not for the music video information, are you sure you can't find info about the synopsis? Also, you haven't made the fix to release history that I suggested. Plus retitle that other section to Release and promotion, since release should be wrote about first; change standalone download to digital download and mention both labels that it was through, with those labels being mentioned under the release in the lead as well. --Kyle Peake (talk) 15:28, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Kyle Peake: Thanks, I previously forgot to follow few comments but i fixed them now. Regarding the music video, I can try to add a sentence about the synopsis but I couldn't find any sources.--Lorik17 (talk) 15:39, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Iaof2017, it is fine I understand that the article is broad enough even without you writing about the video, due to the contests' coverage mostly, and I see that the lack of synopsis is WP:GOOD FAITH.  Pass! --Kyle Peake (talk) 16:29, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
