Hospital Price Transparency
[edit]Sometime in 2018 the HHS under Alex Azar proposed a rule requiring hospitals to publish price lists for standard services. It was finalized in Nov 2019, took effect in Jan 2021, and I believe both HHS and Congress have looked at updating it since. As this aims to address cost, one of the most painful points in health care, it would seem to deserves at least a mention on this page…?
