President of Ireland link

@Jnestorius: Wouldn't a link to the president who signed the law be more intuitive than a link to the position of presidency? Idiacanthus1 (talk) 17:55, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think there is any context in which "President of Ireland" is intuitive. Both "Michael D. Higgins" and "President of Ireland" are intuitive, and it may be appropriate to include either or both or neither. I've rewritten the lede anyway.
