Use Pedagogy / ists
[edit]Is it truly necessary to use the words pedagogy/pedagogist instead of Iinstructors or theorists?
It seems unnecessarily pretentious and delays understanding of the concept. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.80.225.2 (talk) 14:27, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
- I agree with this. It is the purpose of Wikipedia to be open to everyone, and part of that is using language that everyone should reasonably understand. Pedagogist is not everyday language nor does it increase understanding in the article. I think all instances of it should be replaced in this article. – The Amazing Matt (talk) 20:25, 27 November 2019 (UTC)
- Nobody has objected, so I will go ahead and make those changes. – Amazing Matt (talk | cont.) 20:35, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
