Merge proposal

[edit]

There's a March proposal to merge this page and Autoimmune thyroiditis. I agree that there is heavy overlap, the only difference seeming to be whether there is a goiter or not, a rather subjective assessment. Hashimoto's thyroiditis, the older name, still seems to be the one most widely used in the textbooks and online summaries, suggesting that it should be the target. Any differences can be distinguished on the combined page. Klbrain (talk) 10:57, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Agree with Klbrain that Hashimoto's thyroiditis is the name widely used, easily seen on on major websites. Support merge but to Hashimoto's as target.--Iztwoz (talk) 16:55, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Two sections titled "Epidemiology"

[edit]

The article has two sections that are titled Epidemiology, but they both cover different things. 87.116.182.111 (talk) 07:16, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
