Unfortunately, this article does not meet the Good Article criteria at this time. Some of the issues include:

• The lead is too short. With such a fairly lengthy article, please expand the paragraph of the lead, and perhaps even consider adding a second paragraph to the lead.
• Consider adding an Infobox with {{Infobox Person}}.
• A significant amount of information goes unsourced. Examples include the paragraphs that begin with the following sentences:
  • "During summer break in 1942"
  • "He finished his degree in industrial design in 1947"
  • "Littleton’s production as a potter focused"
  • "Littleton began his teaching career"
  • "Littleton's artwork is in the collections of"
  • "Married to Bess Tamura Littleton since 1947."
• The article also needs to be copyedited. Issues include:
  • The entire " Personal" section contains sentence fragments.
