• Will need East's nationality mentioned in the first sentence
• "A St. Louis native," - think the city can be wikilinked to the relevant article

Early life

• "In his book The Cooperstown Chronicles, lists East's birthplace as St. Louis, Missouri, where East would spend most of his life." - repetition of "East"
• You can also mention the year the book was published if it is appropriate

Baltimore Orioles

• "East's only Major League Baseball (MLB) game came on June 17, 1882, at Sportsman's Park in St. Louis, though East played for the visiting Baltimore Orioles as they competed against the St. Louis Browns of the fledgling American Association." - repetition of the player's surname

Minor league baseball

• "East would later become a patient, checking into the Alexian Brothers' Hospital in May 1905. He was suffering from melancholia" - maybe merge the second sentence with the first but being more concise?
• "On June 2, he committed suicide, using a straight razor to slit his throat." - thedeadballera.com doesn't state the date or what he used to slit his throat so another reference that mentions all this information is needed here
