Not a pilot

Is it correct to say "He flew the P-3C Orion,..." given that he was an NFO and thus not a pilot? Perhaps it should say he was assigned to that plane? --S Philbrick(Talk) 15:49, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

"Flew" is accurate (NFOs have many of the duties of co-pilots on commercial aircraft); "piloted" would not be. In the interest of correcting any potential ambiguity there, we could consider alternatives such as "crewed" or "operated." "Flew" is in line with the service records of other NFOs, however, and is consistent with the language of the Naval Flight Officer Wiki page itself. HowlingMadHess (talk) 02:21, 7 July 2017 (UTC)

U.S. Ambassador Harris was criticized by his behavior of intervening in internal affairs or sovereign decisions of S.Korea several times. By doing these actions, it was understood that he degenerated the bilateral relationship and own interests of U.S. by dissociating most of South Koreans. One example was, Amb Harris criticized S. Korea's top leader in front of foreign journalists in Seoul, and warned indirectly S.Korea 's President with entailing a disciplinary reaction from the U.S.
Harris has faced criticism by South Koreans over his attitude like a governor-general in S. Korea, and his mustache, which, to some, was reminiscent of Japanese-appointed Governors-General (Itō Hirobumi) during Japanese rule over Korea. Harris suggested the criticism stemmed from his racial heritage. He was criticized for his unprofessional role in the GSOMIA (General Security of Military Information Agreement of Japan–South Korea) with Japan, and 500 percent rise in South Korea ’s contribution, to $ 5 billion of USFK negotiations. Respecting the criticism of the public in South Korea and S.Korean Government, he declared that his mustache will be removed if it had a preconceived notion that it would interfere with his public service.
