A recent edit by Shapinsky added a link to the Wikipedia article on J. S. G. Boggs to the External Links section.

I removed the link because its relevance to the subject wasn't clear. Boggs isn't mentioned in the article; he's another artist written about by Lawrence Weschler, who also wrote about the subject, but I'm not sure how that justifies a link.

If Boggs is directly relevant to the subject, then a description of that relevance could be added to the article. Also, we should only link to Wikipedia articles using wiki-links. Making an external link to a Wikipedia article makes it look like Wikipedia is relying on its own authority as factual. ACW 20:31, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
