Harmanus Bleecker Hall

[edit]

The section on "Harmanus Bleecker Harll" is misleading, since it jumps to the Harmanus Bleecker Library, built in 1924 and located on Dove and Washington. Harmanus Bleecker Hall was constructed in 1889, next to the Armory near the corner of Washington and Lark. See photo, interior photo, and playbills.

The current Albany Public Library Washington Ave Branch is located at the location of the former Harmanus Bleecker Hall, and the auditorium of the Washington Ave branch was originally called Harmanus Bleecker Hall. That's where my office is, and where I am now writing this suggested for revision. Another day, I might get around to revising it, but if there's a Wikipedian who can tackle this paragraph, please do.

@Nadalex: Please take a look at the edits I just made and let me know what you think. If it's still not right, I can continue to refine.
