Re-write

I've done a complete re-write, I've still left the unreferenced tag on, because it is incredibly difficult to find references for this! I've included an opposition section to try and get it in a more neutral point of view. I've tried my best and will continue looking for citation, any help would be much appreciated. Good article

This is hard material to reference, but you did a good job on the re-write. this is pretty accurate.

Criticism

The first paragraph of the Criticism section is not neutral. Jasontheperson (talk) 10:51, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

"Outsiders tend not to understand the enjoyment or its level of artistic expression that is shared within the hardcore dancing community." - I think outsiders don't appreciate being punched in the face, especially when at a metal show and not a hardcore show. What part of everyone dancing in the same manner is self expression? Sounds like elite scene conformity to me. I think this page should be semi-protected because of constant vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by NewYorkStyledCheesecakes (talkcontribs) 21:00, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Hardcore dancing is much harder then just going out and pushing people. It actually takes some skill that moshing doesn't not SLIPKNOT SUCKS!!!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 164.58.182.1 (talk) 21:34, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Okay, this is Wikipedia, not YouTube, so its not the place for scenesters and metalheads to be battling it out, but I couldn't resist this one, what do you think is so hard and skillful about jumping around and swinging your arms like a little spastic monkey?--Metalhead94 (talk) 22:26, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
