Notable People

[edit]

I just cleaned up John Stringer's entry in Notable People.

There are other things that need improving in this section, that I may come back to some other time, but I will list my thoughts here in case someone would like to take a look:

  • Is there a better source of information for Philip Bushill-Matthews link to the village?
  • The only reference to Elizabeth Hands is behind a subscription wall but there appears to be a better source for the fact she was born in Harbury on her Wikipedia page.
  • The reference for Justin and Jordan King's link to Harbury is behind a paywall. Is there an open link for this information?
  • The reference for Nikki Sudden and Epic Soundtrack's connection to Harbury is tenuous. Can their time living in the village be verified by a more verifiable source?
  • Should this section clarify these people's links to the village? At the moment Elizabeth Hands and Richard Jago are the only ones whose link is stated and verifiable. Only Elizabeth Hands was born in the village (and, perhaps, Jordan King), one of them is listed because of a direct impact on the village (Richard Jago), the others are listed because they lived in the village for a period of time. This section could be more useful and interesting if more detail could be added about their involvement in village life.
