I seriously doubt there was an actual railway station there. In the early days of the railroad, there were often section houses containing maintenance crews, until technological advances made them superfluous. Timetables often referenced sections when more people lived in random spots out in the boonies and flag stops were prevalent.

The article also lacks any mention of modern times. The term "Happy" or "Happy Valley" is used nowadays to refer to the small commercial corner at and near the intersection of Sheep Creek Road and Ester Dome Road. A commercial-scale marijuana grow operation occurred there in the 1980s and 1990s and received substantial coverage when it was busted.
