The article Hansraj College, needs to be shifted to Hans Raj College which is the Official name of the college, according to official website [1], relevant text already pasted from the smaller article - Hans Raj College, to the larger article which exists at Hansraj College. It has been a part of the university for more than 50 years. It offers a variety of courses which range from BA(Hons.) to BSc.(Hons). The college has constantly been ranked among the top ten colleges in India and among the five best under Delhi University.^{[citation needed]}

The university rankers from the commerce stream are often from this college.^{[citation needed]}

The college was founded by the D.A.V. College Managing Committee on July 26, 1948 in the sacred memory of Mahatma Hans Raj, a pioneer in the field of education. It is today one of the leading lights in the D.A.V. family of over 700 institutions. (PLACED FOR REFERENCE, AND CAN BE PLACED INTO THE PRESENT ARTICLE IF CITATIONS CAN BE FOUND.
