[edit]Some sources:
- http://dressage.com/SRS/about/training4.htm This is unsourced and not RS quality for a BLP, plus outdated, but it's a reasonably decent overview of the process for use as background for editors.
- http://www.srs.at/en_US/the-long-journey-from-a-young-eleve-to-a-fully-qualified-rider/ This is an RS for the training process
- http://dressagetoday.com/article/eleve_female_rider_at_spanish_riding_school_073009 solid US press article on the process, though featuring Sojourner Morrell, the other young woman who has since dropped out. (2014?)
- http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1077893/Pictured-The-British-teenager-shattered-436-year-men-tradition-win-place-Spanish-Riding-School.html also covers Sojourner Morrell primarily (2008)
- http://www.srs.at/en_US/assistant-rider-hannah-zeitlhofer/ Official bio for Zeitlhofer added to draft ELs
- http://www.efe.com/efe/english/agencia-efe/vienna-s-spanish-riding-school-names-1st-woman-rider-in-its-450-year-history/50000270-3039922 a couple useful tidbits not in other sources. (Such as being in charge of four horses)
- http://equusmagazine.com/blog/breaking-lipizzaner-ceiling-hannah-zeitlhofer-promoted-reiter-spanish-riding-school-vienna-54119 US coverage of her promotion added to draft refs
- http://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/women-at-the-spanish-riding-school-the-end-of-a-viennese-legacy-a-594002.html 2008 article on the first women eleves, of whom Zeitlhofer was one. (The author is clearly not a horse person and has some details off, but oh well...) added to draft refs
- http://www.srs.at/en_US/riders/ List of current riders, looks like one additional woman in the assistant rider ranks now
- http://www.srs.at/en_US/die-bewegte-geschichte-der-spanischen-hofreitschule/ Timeline. Notes the first two women admitted in 2008

Sojourner Morrell
[edit]Sojourner Morrell is the other woman selected as an eleve in 2008, alongside Zeitlhofer. Many press sources describe this person as British or "from Britain" although others seem to say she is US-born of at least one British parent. If this could be straightened out I'd like to describe her correctly. Perhaps she is a dual citizen. Or a British expat living in the U.S. in which case is she "from Britain" or "from the United States"? - Brianhe (talk) 18:52, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
- This article indicates she is an American, but lived in Europe for many years: [1]. There also appears to be attached bit of mythological nonsense... [2]. Montanabw(talk) 17:48, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
