I found Hana Hou! when I was researching paniolos (Hawaiian cowboys). Struck by the high quality of its feature articles, I ended up learning enough to write a stub about it.

I've since read more and have found it a fine source of information on a variety of topics. I'm providing this bit of background here in case a question arises about why I've been adding Hana Hou! citations to other articles: I have no connection to the magazine ;-) — Athaenara 04:41, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
