I have to disagree with the inclusion of Mother's Day with the holidays denounced as Hallmark Holidays. I realize the article isn't saying it is a Hallmark Holiday, but the implication is there. The actual origin of Mother's Day is Anna Jarvis in the early 20th century - Hallmark had nothing to do with it. -Etoile 17:30, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge of Hallmark holiday with this article

[edit]

As this article has more information, I believe that the article on Hallmark holiday should be merged as they both are virtually the same. Sonic 17:54, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the merge, but think the Wikipedia capitalization convention is that ordinary words, like holiday, should not be capitalized. Thus, this article should be made into a redirect and the other article should contain the merged content. StuRat 18:57, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I did a merge with the Hallmark holiday article. I tried to keep the best wording from the two articles and preserve all the information. Transfinite 22:35, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
