Should this article be merged into Nihongami?

They cover pretty much the same subject; this article just has more history. I think it ought to be merged into the article nihongami, or else – if it won't end up too long – we take this article, nihongami and chonmage, and stick 'em into one big article entitled something like Traditional Japanese hairstyles.
