Merge proposal

[edit]

I propose merging Haemus Mons into Balkan Mountains. I think the contents of this article can be condensed and addressed in the Etymology section of the destination page. JR0576 (talk) 19:40, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed; Balkan Mountains#Etymology already discusses this so I have boldly redirected this article Caeciliusinhorto-public (talk) 10:46, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Consolidation

[edit]

There are articles entitled Haemus, Haemus Mons, and Balkan Mountains. Some merging ought to be done. Aramgar (talk) 19:49, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

pronunciation and ’chronism

[edit]
In earlier times, the Balkan Mountains were known as the Haemus Mons (/ˈhməs ˈmɒnz/ HEE-muhs MONZ).

Modern English pronunciation in 'earlier' times? Marvellous. Well, if it was good enough for Jesus, eh? —Tamfang (talk) 03:04, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
