Deathgrind

[edit]

Hi all.

I deleted the Deathgrind tag, it is not a real genre. it is merely a name for death/grind.. Besides Haemorrhage are a Goregrind band, they have few Death metal elements. I don't think there is need for genres such as this. It only gives confusion.

Don't know if this is worth it's own talk.. but.. i obviously had to rant about this. Darksteel 14:09, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, removed it again. Meaningful username 20:12, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Their tracks on the Dementia Rex split were heavily influenced by death metal, some sounding more like late '80s and early '90s DM than grindcore of any sort. 68.47.1.63 19:53, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's always a mess trying to categorize bands due to all subgenres. Goregrind bands generally have death metal influences, and when thinking of deathgrind, Haemorrhage isn't the first band that pops up. I think the genres should be kept to the ones most fitting, but it's never black and white... Meaningful Username 07:24, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Apologyforpathology.jpg

[edit]

Image:Apologyforpathology.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
