Special Service Vessel

[edit]

The introduction here said that Fidelity "was a Special Service Vessel (Q-Ship)" and the infobox gave her type as "Q-ship". I’ve changed that; a Q-Ship is (or was) an anti-submarine warfare vessel acting as a decoy in order to engage (and hopefully destroy) a submarine in the act of trying to sink her. There is no indication Fidelity was ever employed in this role. She was on special service, but initially in her role with SOE and later as a Commando landing ship. Although Q-Ships were classed as Special Service Vessels, not all SSV’s were Q-Ships, and the statement here is an assumption, not a verifiable fact.
