If you want to say HMS Defender is participating in the search
[edit]so far no lexisnexis news or google-ble news says it is. Use reputable sources!Cantab1985 (talk) 11:54, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
So far, no set news that HMS Defender is taking part in the search. Even if MarineTraffic says it is there (and the website isnt accurate, it says Lyme Bay is in Gibraltar), it doesnt prove it is part of the search.Cantab1985 (talk) 12:22, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
See https://modmedia.blog.gov.uk/2016/05/20/defence-in-the-media-20-may-2016/
Michael Fallon's words "...I have directed RFA Lyme Bay to the area, and I have also offered a C-130 Hercules aircraft from RAF Akrotiri to support the Egyptian-led effort."
HMS Defender is NOT mentioned!Cantab1985 (talk) 13:29, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
- I don't see HMS Defender in this tabloid paper, which is far better than a talk show host site. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3600761/Body-parts-seats-luggage-MS804-search-crews-Horror-relatives-discovery-EgyptAir-jet-parts-dashes-hopes-loved-ones-survived.htmlCantab1985 (talk) 16:13, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

Not HMS Defender. If Defender was sent, David Cameron would have announced it.Cantab1985 (talk) 08:34, 22 May 2016 (UTC)
