I believe that a mechanism on how HBTU couples carboxylic acids and amines to make amides may be helpful for viewers of this page who are interested in organic synthesis. I have found a figure depicting the mechanism in a review by Dunetz et. al.[1]

My thought is that I cannot show the figure from the journal, but I would rather draw the mechanism myself and insert a caption or a subsection with details explaining the mechanism. --Blangmack20 (talk) 18:23, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Mistake in Mechanism
