British Railways not founded until 1948
[edit]Whilst researching this article it was my understanding that the four main railway companies established a joint identity, ahead of nationalisation, in order to sell tickets and receive luggage in advance at various high street addresses in London. If this is not the case then I would prefer to put a new citation against this fact rather than than simply linking through to the "Big Four" article. The original citation will need to be removed as it refers to "British Railways" and will be confusing to readers.Kenchikuben (talk) 09:48, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
