Lead
[edit]- Avoid the repetition of "again" in the last sentence.
- Use '(1647)' and '(1630)' here as well.
History
[edit]- Mention Bach's full name the first time he is mentioned in the prose.
- Perhaps mention that he composed the cantata in Leipzig.
- Link Köthen.
- Remove "certainly" and if you'd like, use something such as "according to.." or perhaps simply remove "certainly".
- Rather than "for the 1723 occasion", use the "for the event" or something.
- "John Eliot Gardiner and other scholars" - may I suggest an alternative? "Scholars such as John Eliot Gardiner".
- "in the dedication service" -> "at the dedication service".
Music
[edit]- "often dance-like" - could there be a more formal explanation or maybe use something from the source in "quotation".
A short and nice article. This should do it. Cheers, Yash! 13:02, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
- All addressed except the last point - the character of the music is dance-like, not sure what else you would say there. Nikkimaria (talk) 18:40, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Passing it, great work! Yash! 03:27, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
