Avoid the repetition of "again" in the last sentence.
Use '(1647)' and '(1630)' here as well.

History

Mention Bach's full name the first time he is mentioned in the prose.
Perhaps mention that he composed the cantata in Leipzig.

Remove "certainly" and if you'd like, use something such as "according to.." or perhaps simply remove "certainly".
Rather than "for the 1723 occasion", use the "for the event" or something.
"John Eliot Gardiner and other scholars" - may I suggest an alternative? "Scholars such as John Eliot Gardiner".
"in the dedication service" -> "at the dedication service".

Music

"often dance-like" - could there be a more formal explanation or maybe use something from the source in "quotation".
