Reversed redirect

Hello all- I swapped the contents of this page with that of Hôtel de ville as this term is not a proper noun in French. Please let me know here if I went about this incorrectly or messed anything up system-wise. Eric ^talk 19:17, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request page moves here if you don't have permissions to do them yourself. Cut'n'paste moves lose the editing history. You might want to discuss this one first, since this is a long-standing page with many edits and nobody thought to do this before - possibly for a good reason. Hi Lithopsian- I was hoping the redirect code would prevent problems like losing the history. I didn't start a discussion first as I have no doubt about the capitalization. I don't know whether I have permission to make the change properly. I do remember some procedure like "move over redirect"; maybe I'll look into that unless you have another suggestion. Hi (again) @Tom- Hoping you can help me here. It looks like you might have done something with a redirect on Hôtel de ville last year. Hi Eric, all I did was add {{Redirect category shell}} to Hôtel de ville. I don't think you have the permissions to do what it is I think you want to do, so you should follow Lithopsian's link. I have no opinion on the matter. ~ Tom.Reding (talk ⋅dgaf) 00:17, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
