How To Get To Gurez section

[edit]

This section goes into detail not relevant to an encyclopedia and even makes predictions about the future. PDCook (talk) 22:48, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think the whole section should be deleted, but for now I removed the prediction about a lodging facility and the phone number of the tourism department. PDCook (talk) 23:14, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an Aryan region. Thus be careful some foreign elements to Semitize this region do not plant Hebrew inscriptions in a manner it may take time to figure out that these are plants. this is an ongoing foreign agenda (of some people. We know who these people are) to Semitize(make arab-Jewish) the globe. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.88.88.174 (talk) 19:04, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gurais is a tourist spot. so i thought it would be appropriate to add some information regarding the travel to that destination. But if this is against wikipedia policies to enter such information, we can delete it. but if we have a scope to include it. we should include it. Gurezi 08:37, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

I deleted the section because we can add the tourism department site in external section afterwards. so this issue is closed now —Preceding unsigned comment added by Heman60 (talkcontribs) 09:11, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Photos

[edit]

Are there versions of the photos on this page without copyright watermarks? It is strongly discouraged to have such watermarks. PDCook (talk) 22:53, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Copyediting/tone

[edit]

This article needs some copyediting and also some major improvement in the tone. Many sections are not written in a formal encyclopedic voice. For example, the Habba Khatoon and Famous Personalities of Gurez sections are essay-like. PDCook (talk) 23:07, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Town? Valley? What is the subject?

[edit]

What is the subject of this article? The lead makes it sound like a valley that covers the India-Pakistan border. The original version of the article only talks about the valley also. But the infobox and other parts of the article sound like it is describing one town which is in the valley. Perhaps two separate articles are required. This should be clarified by someone familiar with the area. I am pinging Razimpatel, Heman60 and Obaidwani1, who have been the main contributors to the article.
