Death

I think Wikipedia has traditionally used Twitter handles known to be reliable for indicating death well before obituaries appear. It seems a bit unfortunate to use such strict criteria. The Himalayan Club handle on Facebook is reliable. I have also heard from people who knew Gurdial Singh personally who have posted tributes. It does not seem right to be showing him as alive when people will look him up on the internet and find this entry. Shyamal (talk) 02:04, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
