Season 1 Episode 3 Airdate

Season 1 Episode 3 was scheduled to air on Saturday September 24, 1955 but was postponed one week until October 1, 1955. Presumably Ep. #3 was pre-empted because Dwight D. Eisenhower, President of the United States suffered a coronary thrombosis while on vacation in Denver, Colorado and Vice President Richard Nixon was serving as Acting President. An Eisenhower event would effect network programming again 13.5 years later on March 28, 1969, the day former President Dwight Eisenhower died. All network programming that night was pre-empted (including the final episode of Star Trek). Jrodor (talk) 04:52, 9 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
