Wife Marcia the half-sister or step-sister of Jimi Hendrix?

[edit]

The article says that his wife Marcia was the half-sister of Jimi Hendrix. Is that correct or was she Jimi's step-sister Marsha Jinka, the daughter of Ayako "June" Fujita Jinka, the 2nd wife of Jimi's father? Nurg (talk) 08:07, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I sorted it out. Nurg (talk) 08:41, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplace

[edit]

Most sources, including his record company, give his birthplace as Houston, Texas, but the authoritative source Blues: A Regional Experience by Eagle and LeBlanc gives it as Loughman, Florida. They add that this is supported by the 1935 and 1940 censuses, and add that "he has usually given his birth details as Houston, Texas". Any thoughts? Ghmyrtle (talk) 06:47, 23 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
