Problem

[edit]

This is a circular redirection. Please delete...

As per the RfD, the request is moot, since the redirect has for now been reverted to an article. If there is wider consensus in future for a redirect or merge, it would still in all likelihood be kept as redirect with rather the target article being updated or expanded.Tikiwont (talk) 08:26, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not to mention that this article is a freakin' mess. Also, any news of a 2009 edition? Misteryoshi 19:38, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes there is, and I've created the article for it. About to add content to it and leave it in less of a mess. MasterOfHisOwnDomain (talk) 22:53, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV

[edit]

An article on this topic is clearly notable. Of actual concern is the fact the article is an extended advert. Syferus (talk) 00:40, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's clear this list was not made by "industry experts". A quick look at a compilation of over 40 published top game lists from reliable sources shows how heavily of an anomaly this list is. Super Mario Kart has never been rated higher than #6 on any list. Many of these games have never been published on a single top 10 list ever: Lego Star Wars Complete Saga, Ridge Racer, Outrun 2, Sega Rally Championship, etc, etc. Final Fantasy V11 & III & VI are some of the most commonly appearing games in top ten lists, yet none(edit:except VII) of them are mentioned but Final Fantasy XII is?

If anybody has any info on this, or anybody mentioning it in a reliable source please post because this is ridiculous.AerobicFox (talk) 22:21, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This review says the list is reader chosen. Since that definitely seems to be the case I'm going to include that for now. Lemme know if they're any objections.AerobicFox (talk) 22:41, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Double Edit: A quote by the producer of the book in this review says that polled people in the industry to give them their favorite video games. Changing to reflect that for now.AerobicFox (talk) 22:51, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wording

[edit]

"The second edition was released in 2009. The third edition was released in January 2010. A fourth edition was released in January 2011, and a fifth edition was released in January 2012. A sixth edition, Guinness World Records 2013 Gamer's Edition, releases on January 10, 2013."

How about, "with subsequent editions appearing yearly in January." Just a thought. 68.153.29.9 (talk) 00:54, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
