Guðrún → Gudrun (given name) – this should redirect to Gudrun, the article on the mythological figure, as one of the alternate spellings for her. Further, the list of people with this name show many different spellings, using "Guðrún", "Guðrun", "Gudrun", "Gudrún", therefore, the base version should be the plain unstyled one. As mentioned in the article, in Scandinavia, it is spelled "Gudrun" (and Germany) Relisted. BDD (talk) 20:52, 17 July 2013 (UTC) -- 76.65.128.222 (talk) 00:22, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Strong oppose - sorry but the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC of Guðrún (note that d and ð are two separate letters in Icelandic and other alphabets) is the name as per Lonely Planet Iceland 2007 - Page 23 "Most popular girl's name: Guðrún" - the German figure Gudrun is not WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for Guðrún and in no terms should it redirect there. There is already a hatnote in the unlikely event that someone searches Guðrún when looking for Gudrun. The name "Gudrun" is not so notable outside Iceland. Support the move, but not the change of redirect. The article seems to be about both the modern name Gudrunand the Old Norse/Icelandic Guðrún. --Rob Sinden (talk) 16:58, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The first is what you've titled the move (template conflict). The second, Faroese Guðrun for which we have no bio; do you have any evidence that the third Gudrún exists? In ictu oculi (talk) 01:21, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
