Merge

[edit]

Lets merge them. The new page should be titled Theory of Economic Growth. Brusegadi 05:06, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed about the merge with 'Economic growth' but I propose to keep the title 'Economic growth' (unless you want to change 'Economics' to 'Theory of economics') Countermereology 16:06, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I really think that the articles are too similar. The names suggest the same topic. Last time I tried there was only one other editor and I decided to leave the status quo, but maybe we discuss this a little more? Let me place the tag and lets live it for a while to see who comes by...? Brusegadi 06:13, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Just be bold and merge them; they're very similar and the difference is only a functional one -- economic growth is the phenomenon, while growth theory is the body which studies economic growth. The two are, in economics, almost inseparable since virtually all study requires a theory. --Haemo 21:09, 26 July 2007 (UTC)" from: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Economics#Economic_Growth Brusegadi 21:15, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
