Historical Facts - reliable source

[edit]

After doing some more scrutinizing on historical facts, I found a more reliable source with the Historical Society of Drenthe. I will make the necessary adjustments some time tomorrow. This because of the seemingly incorrect 'fact' that the aerodrome was commandeered by the Germans in August 1939. Up to now I cannot verify that.

I will also try to make a bit more elaborate article about the expansion of the main runway, which I think is not sufficiently described Harbosma (talk) 20:25, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have rewritten the History section with the more reliable source of the Historic Society Drenthe. Please feel free to post your comments, if you have any.
Unfortunately I have no time left to write something more elaborate on the runway expansion. I will see when I have time for that. Harbosma (talk) 13:32, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dispute

[edit]

I invite WikiGuest2017 and Andrewgprout to discuss their concerns here. 331dot (talk) 10:48, 10 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

These references are old and not true anymore. For example the Heraklion destination reference of neckermann.nl/vliegtickets. Heraklion isn't bookable via this site for GRQ. It is now bookable via transavia.com not via Neckkermann. — Preceding unsigned comment added by WikiGuest2017 (talkcontribs) 10:55, 10 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

WikiGuest2017 please demonstrate that with a reliable source, we can't just take your word for it. 331dot (talk) 10:57, 10 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm so done with this now, I used a reliable source namely neckermann.nl/vliegtickets. If you look on that website for booking a ticket there isn't an option anymore for booking a ticket to Heraklion from Groningen. You can book this route nowadays via https://www.transavia.com/nl-NL/boek-een-vlucht/vluchten/zoeken/. I don't care anymore make this page super ugly if you want this is not justified. Other people tried to reverse these references either so I am not the only one who thinks this is not right. — Preceding unsigned comment added by WikiGuest2017 (talkcontribs) 11:07, 10 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I don't really understand Wikiguest's talk above - the edits in question are the simple deletion of three references (and only the references) with the summary "ONLY references for new of canceled destinations!". While these particular deleted references are at the extreme end of flacky WP:RS they do still mostly support the existence of the facts they are supporting. If the references are out of date and or not needed then the detail they are supporting must also be deleted. As I said in my edit summary WP:V, WP:BURDEN is clear on the need for references. The real problem here is that entries to these tables and probably the tables themselves are very hard to reference properly with WP:RS which does in reality question their encyclopaedic value and their continued maintenance in Wikipedia. Hello, I've got a question. At the destinations there is a seasonal charter flight from aegean airlines to Heraklion. I can't find where this stands. On the page of Aegean not, also not on different sites. Where is it based on? Daniël Nefs (talk) 18:13, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
