lang|de

[edit]

Andy, I reverted your additions of the {{lang}} template because you didn't use them correctly. I suppose you wanted to create something like "German: Rems-Murr", but you should use a "-" instead of a "|" between "lang" and "de". If you use the template within the infobox, it messes up several features of the infobox (for instance linking to the respective articles and categorisation). Besides, I don't think it's very useful in this case, because the English names are not different from the German names. Markussep Talk 21:22, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, I used them correctly: I didn't want to create something like "German: Rems-Murr"; I wanted to mark-up words which are in German, not English, in accordance with WP policy and web standards. Please read the documentation at {{lang}}. Any word with "ß" in it cannot be English. I've reported the bug with {{Infobox German location}}. Infobox German location: parameter "Straße"

[edit]

This article uses the parameter "Straße" for {{Infobox German location}}. As far as I can see, this template doesn't use that parameter; the equivalent German template de:Vorlage:Infobox Gemeinde in Deutschland does. Just thought I mention it in case this is unintended. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 10:36, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
