Good afternoon, all

I have just edited the page on Grenfell, New South Wales by including the name of another famous Grenfell 'son', cyclist Reggie "IronMan" McNamara. (I did try to say something in the 'explain edit' section but all I got was the related help page .....). However it is probably not a terribly useful edit as Reggie McNamara is not currently included in Wikipedia and so no link can be made. He was a world-famous cyclist so is probably worthy of inclusion ..... I would also like to see an external link made to the website of the related local government area, Weddin Shire, because it has a considerable amount of general information about the town of Grenfell and its client shire. That website is http://www.weddin.nsw.gov.au/

And I would sign off as requested with four tildes if I had a tilde on my keyboard, but as I haven't ... ----

Devonian ducks

[edit]

As there were no ducks in the Devonian period this phrase is obviously an error. Perhaps it should be “Devonian rocks”. I will remove the wikilink from “ducks”. Any other ideas? Downsize43 (talk) 00:37, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Downsize43: Well spotted! The things of interest aren't even the rocks; it is the fossils in the rocks. I have made an attempt to improve the sentence - see my diff. Dolphin (t) 09:54, 5 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
