2021 Congressional Baseball Game
[edit]I'd like to know why the sentence about the 2021 Congressional Baseball Game was removed.[1] Johnoandrews (talk) 18:23, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
- I would ask how this is notable and how does its inclusion make the article better? --PerpetuityGrat (talk) 18:57, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
Loan forgiveness
[edit]How many Jewish students versus ,any other kids, got loan forgiveness???? 47.203.232.81 (talk) 12:05, 8 May 2024 (UTC)
Freedom Caucus
[edit]Is he a member of the Freedom Caucus? We've got one source saying only that he got a campaign donation from the Freedom Fund,[1] and one including him on a list of "members and allies" without saying which he is.[2] Is that really enough to identify him as a member?

- There is another source, but I'm not certain if it is considered RS in this context, though RSN could probably clear that up. It lists him as a member during the 117th congress. DN (talk) 08:39, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
- I have my doubts. At WP:RSP, WP:BALLOTPEDIA says
There is no consensus on the reliability of Ballotpedia
, and the specific Ballotpedia page cites Newsweek, which per WP:NEWSWEEK also has no consensus. -- Pemilligan (talk) 09:05, 12 September 2024 (UTC)- No consensus isn't great, but it doesn't necessarily mean unreliable. We can ask WP:RSN if you like. DN (talk) 10:07, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Pemilligan Here is yet another source that seems more direct in naming him as a member... https://floridadaily.com/congressional-florida-house-freedom-caucus-members-earmarked-millions-from-taxpayers/
- "However, according to the auditors at OTB, two of the Freedom Caucus members, Florida Congressman Republicans Byron Donalds and Greg Steube, voted to bring millions of spending earmarks back to their congressional districts." DN (talk) 10:36, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
- That's better than what's been there until now. -- Pemilligan (talk) 01:46, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- I have my doubts. At WP:RSP, WP:BALLOTPEDIA says
- Is there a reason to keep the Roll Call and Pew Research sources which dont actually say he's a member? -- Pemilligan (talk) 01:47, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- I think Pew is the more preferable of the two if you wish to cut down on the citations. Generally 3 cites is the max, so there is no need to remove any at this point, but if you wish to remove Rollcall I have no issue with it. DN (talk) 02:00, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
