Foremost DNA expert?

[edit]

None of these sources says he "is considered one of the foremost DNA experts in the US." Maybe you can provide me with a quote? Scientific praise usually stands on publications, success in overturning convictions with DNA, techniques, etc., but this looks odd. I could be wrong, so, maybe you could give me a quote confirming this from one of the three sources? I checked all three, and they don't appear to say this. -68.107.137.178 (talk) 05:32, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Definition of foremost as an adverb: Before anything else in rank, importance, or position; in the first place. The definition correlates to what the sources say as the "Top Forensic DNA Expert". I also added a source that uses the word "foremost" to describe his stature to avoid confusion. Proudbolsahye (talk) 05:59, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I know what foremost means, and I did not see any synonyms or the word itself in any of the sources. This new source has it? Then just cite that. -68.107.137.178 (talk) 06:44, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

None of the sources actually says that Hampikian is 'one of the foremost DNA experts in the US', because he isn't. Nor did he have any part in the Italian trial of Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito -- at least, no legitimate part, since he never gave evidence in court.
