Rational For Creation

[edit]

The term Green Rush has become a popular term for the economic development of the Cannabis industry, parodying the gold rush. Thus this page should exist as a look at the totality of the history, events and big people that will eventually lead to the development of a global marijuana industry. While the events are happening in real time it is history in the making. Thus document it in real time, and maintining a healthy talk page can provide insights and controversies a retrospective history could not. Jzesbaugh (talk) 20:13, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Flags Removed

[edit]

An apparent "Drive by Tagging" event occurred, because a talk page was created in good faith to discuss the page it was subsequently removed. In essence the flags were removed for lack of any meaningful notation.

Addressing the Tags

[edit]

The event has been documented in the media since 2014, including mention on PBS, and Forbes. 5 sources specifically mention the event, and one defines it.

The event is not an advertisement, and no meaningful argument was made for why it could be perceived that way. Specificic citation would be helpful in understanding the reasoning applied to warrant this flag.

The event is global however the primary activity is taking place in North America, Specifically the U.S. and Canada. The article cannot speculate on what Countries may or may not implement recreational laws next. Mexico has implemented policy, however no meaningful economic activity has taken place. Uruguay has not really had any notable events, and primarily is functioning on individuals growing for personal use. Though It may cover some U.S. and Canadian Countries entering into the marketplace. There may be something to be said for the German Market, however its still fledgling and medicinal, and thus not meaningful to the economic implications of the topic.

The article there for discusses the current scope of the global event, and effort will be made to notate the conversation being had by international governments. However the scope covers events on 2 continents at this time.
