Initial comments

Date formats

[edit]

This isn't a problem that's going to affect GA, but it might be something worth checking. In the lead the date format of "February 23, 2000" is Month/Day/Year (American format) and in the body of the article "The designer herself also wore it to a Met Gala on 6 December 1999" it is Day/Month/Year (British format). Just wondering which one you would prefer?

Lead

[edit]
  • Don't see any problems here; the lead complies per WP:LEAD and meets the GA criteria

Background

[edit]
  • "...was also featured in the main campaign of the fashion house that year" - forgive my misunderstandings, what is fashion house referring to?
Reply: The house of Versace; the fashion label. Mabalu (talk) 16:23, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reception

[edit]

Really can't find any problems here. The prose is in good standing and meets the GA criteria.

References

[edit]

All the references are working and the citations are in their correct places, complying per the GA criteria.

Close - promoted

The article fully meets the GA criteria, it is comprehensive, stable, well-written and all the references meet the GA criteria. Honestly can't find any other problems with it, despite my little knowledge on fashion I can say that from a reader's (and reviewer's) point of view that this article should pass the GAN. The date formats also shouldn't affect the GAN. @Dr. Blofeld: well done on another GA! Jaguar 15:03, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Jaguar: and @Mabalu:. Thanks both for doing this!!♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:50, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
