CD disc two discrepancies

[edit]

There seems to be confusion about what exactly is on CD 1 of the 1985 release, as noted in the article. Since I don't know of possibly different international releases, I'll best just note that on the one I have in hand here, there is "Honesty" on it but not "Don't Ask Me Why". In order:
(1) My Life
(2) Big Shot
(3) Honesty
(4) You May Be Right
(5) It's Still Rock And Roll To Me
(6) She's Got A Way
(7) Pressure
...
The rest of the songs is as listed.

I think you mean confusion about what is on CD 2. Here are the tracks on my in-hand 1985 release:
  1. My Life
  2. Big Shot
  3. You May Be Right
  4. It's Still Rock and Roll to Me
  5. Don't Ask Me Why
  6. She's Got a Way
  7. Pressure
  8. Allentown
  9. Goodnight Saigon
  10. Tell Her About It
  11. Uptown Girl
  12. The Longest Time
  13. You're Only Human (Second Wind)
  14. The Night is Still Young
It matches the tracks, barcode, catalog number, and record label on https://musicbrainz.org/release/c7e1f895-a5d0-4d6d-b48e-91dabf2e446a, except She's Got a Way is 2:44 and Tell Her About It is 3:55. Interestingly, none of the editions on musicbrainz have 15 tracks on CD 2; all appear to be 14 tracks, matching mine. -- LeCourT:C 06:00, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Billyjoelgreatesthits.jpg

[edit]

Image:Billyjoelgreatesthits.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

My bad, I misunderstood the language in the paragraph.

Orphaned references in Greatest Hits (Billy Joel albums)

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Greatest Hits (Billy Joel albums)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Jachart":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 19:09, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
