I have hardly started on this article therefore it shouldn't be deleted! I haven't had time to add everything so please give me some more time!

-The Quidam

Fair enough. The basic problem was that the initial versions of this article didn't mention Starlight Express at all - readers would not know that Greaseball is part of that musical. Partly because of that, the article looked more like an original story, which goes against Wikipedia policy. Please see WP:LEAD and WP:OR for further information and advice on these Wikipedia issues. We look forward to the additional content and cleanup on the article. Also note other Wikipedia guidelines such as WP:CITE and WP:MOS. Dl2000 05:13, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Real train reference

[edit]

"He is based on the British Rail Class 55 only he carries the Union Pacific livery. "

Erm... how? I'm sorry to keep challenging these assignments, but I can't see the logic behind claiming Greaseball is NOT based on one of the classic diesel Union Pacific engines! These costume designs are in general not accurate enough to pin down to any one specific model of train. If you disagree with me, please do justify your opinions, I am intrigued as to where you're getting the specific details to define the engines! Belle pullman 13:39, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In my personal oppinion i believe Greaseball might be based on an EMD E8 just due to the fact that he is supposed to be the leader of his gang and I surmise that he probally would have been a bigger model of diesel and his gang would have probally been EMD F7 to that effect. but then again this is just my personal view. --Starlight Controller (talk) 19:45, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Greaseball's Gang

[edit]

Hey Belle is there any real cosmetic differences in Tank, Gook, and Lube's Costumes to tell them apart? --Starlight Controller (talk) 13:23, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It depends on the production... the German gang (still have three gang with solo lines, so still Tank Gook and Lube, just not named in the program anymore) each have coloured highlights. London Gang were all identical. Belle pullman (talk) 19:17, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
