Abolition of the Italian provinces
[edit]The Itlaian law n.8/2014 takes its name from its first proponent who had been Delrio. The socalled Delrio law is an ordinary law which abolished the third constituent entity of the Italian jurisdiction: the Provinces of Italy.
On December 4, 2016, the confirmative constitutional referendum of the Renzi-Boschi reform was rejected by the relative majority of the Italian electorate (source: regioni.it).
As of April 2019, most of the Provinces of Italy severily had cut the expenses and the number of internal human resources, while the related entities still existed ([1]).
