VCPR-Cast

[edit]

Has nobody the cast list for VCPR? In my "Inquirer" isn't the cast for the talk station so I'm not able do add it! Someone who can do that? ProSieben 18:12, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

added Vice City Public Radio

[edit]

its on the official site on the "boat show" section

Paradise FM

[edit]

Does anyone know the first song from the Paradise Fm section of the website? Only the latter two are listed on this page. 08:01, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

removed Emotion 98.3

[edit]

its a rumor not confirmed[1]

It is official now, it's on the site, along with Flash FM.

V-rock songs

[edit]

Where did all of those songs come from?

    • Been there done that, and since when were these songs (Motorhead-Ace of Spades, Ozzy Osbourne-Crazy Train, Alice Cooper-Feed My Frankenstein, Iron Maiden-Number of the Beast, Scorpions-Rock You Like a Hurricane, Def Leppard-Rock of Ages) on the official site JonBidinger 10:35, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • It's speculation at best up to this point. No one knows. If it's not on any GTA fansites but it's on here, it's fake. There should only be three songs on V-Rock at this point (9/26/06), three on Wave 103, and two on Paradise FM..and the fishing show on VCPR

Songs from 85' onwards

[edit]

If I'm right in saying that this game is set in 84, then shouldn't there be a note for those songs released after this year? I've already found one, Easy Lover, which was released the year after.

Anyway, it's just a suggestion.--Skully Collins 12:47, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently it came out in 1984[2][3]. Could Wikipedia be wrong? ~ IICATSII punch the keys 12:57, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
But according to the Official Collins Website, it was released in 85.--Skully Collins 13:32, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
According to my copy of 'The Great Rock Discography', Easy Lover was released in the US in November 1984 then released in the UK in March 1985. Dbam 17:35, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

VCPR

[edit]

I bought VCS and there are no credits for VCPR in the "Vice City Inquirer". No logo and no show names and characters and so on. Is it only in mine? ProSieben 13:54, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cast

[edit]

I think the voice actors should be added (like the other GTA soundtrack articles). ProSieben 00:11, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

is there a k-chat in gtavcs? --—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.113.232.143 (talkcontribs) 12/1/2006 8:32:06 PM.

i am pretty sure there isn't a k-chat in vcs -hotspot

He's right! 14:45, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Time Ranger voice credit

[edit]

I believe the voiceover for the Time Ranger is done by Anthony Cumia of the Opie and Anthony show. Can anyone verify this? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 128.2.164.96 (talk) 07:26, 10 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Do you recognize his voice or where you've got this info from? Have a look at your game manuals! ProSieben 20:07, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

On the Opie and Anthony satellite radio show they played clips of each respective role, crediting Anthony with the "old timey" style voiceover. I do not remember the date, but I think it was during the weeks prior to the game's release.

Moor(e)head Rides Again

[edit]

The official Vice City Stories website has a logo of Gordon Moor(e)head's show, and it says "Moorehead Rides Again" with "E" ProSieben 16:12, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reference tag needed?

[edit]

Do we really need a references needed tag for the entire article? It's obvious that the source is the game itself (plus the guide). I'll revert the tag at the top of the article in 2 or 3 days if no one disagrees. Malc82 12:46, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Flashfm.jpg

[edit]

Image:Flashfm.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Trish Camden

[edit]

I noticed this in the Wave 103 section about Trish Camden: "by the time of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, she has returned to the station as its imaging voice." Does anybody have any solid evidence to suggest that this is the case? The name of the imaging voice character is never revealed and she's not even voiced by the same actress, so I don't see where that claim has come from. Genres not mention or ignored

[edit]

I believe the proper use of music genres need to be clarified in each radio station. The Genres are incorrectly mentioned with accordance with each songs own genres. For a good example, we see that Emotion 98.3 is just Power Ballad is dull and not showing much in the way of intelligent input, the lack of knowledge from users lack any good understand of music. I will fix these genes in each radio station with account of the songs listed in the station playlist. We can discuss that further, but it's fair to say in proper use of knowledge is shown.

Emotion 98.3 should have Power Ballad as main, with New wave and Soft rock in the 2nd and 3rd of row. With Flash FM having Pop, New wave, Rock and SynthPop mentioned.
