Actual nominees and winner of 1965

[edit]

According to the same source cited (http://www.awardsandshows.com/features/grammy-awards-1965-217.html), the nominees for Best Instrumental Performance (Other Than Jazz) of 1965 were

The nominees were not

The winner was Henry Mancini for The Pink Panther Theme Lyrics.

The winner was not Mason Williams for "Classical Gas", which was not released until April 1968. See https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Classical_Gas .

Also note that there was such an award (under that particular title) for 1965, countering the claim that the award (under that particular title) began in 1966.98.149.97.245 (talk) 12:25, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
