Just a thought as I did the article. Should the name be [cradle (grain)] or [cradle (agriculture)]? --Dumarest 17:35, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it's also used on non-grain things...
In either case, it also needs a redirect page at Cradle scythe, and perhaps that's where the page should be located?

It is actually known as a grain cradle as per both the reference titles cited. It is almost a portmanteau word. I have never come across it as cradle scythe other than in the image caption in this Wikipedia article but if used it's obvious what is meant as the word cradle qualifies the specific type of scythe although it is then the scythe being described not the cradle attachment. I doubt that people would start looking under 'cradle'. By all means make redirect pages at [cradle (grain)] if you feel that is how folk might approach it. Putting it anywhere other than Grain cradle would also means having to pipe it or redirect it whenever it is linked from another page.
